1. Batuan, Ticao, Masbate

Batuan is a fifth class municipality in Masbate which is located on the southern tip of Ticao Island. It is also the smallest municipality in Masbate in terms of land area and population.

Batuan might be the smallest, but this municipality is blessed with marine sanctuaries and lovely beach destinations you have yet to discover.

Healea Nature Park Lagoon in Monreal, Ticao is honestly my personal favorite among all the beaches I've visited in Masbate. The 'El Nido' feel of the crystal clear island is a must see for every one!

Even if there are baby sharks, you can still snorkel and kayak here.

4. Balangingi Island, Pio V. Corpus, Masbate

Balangingi Island, a 4.9-hectare marine sanctuary is considered one of Masbate's virgin islands and is now eyed as an ecotourism zone. With just a 15 minute boat ride from Pio V. Corpuz, you will get to enjoy its crystal clear water, fine white sand, and peaceful, picturesque beauty that offers a breathtaking experience.

5. Buntod Marine Reef Sanctuary, Mobo Masbate

Buntod Marine Sanctuary is the most accessible from the city of Masbate. This sandbar is only 10-15 minutes boat ride from the city proper,
